ABOUT CHRIS
Chris Rieger started his career at the age of 18, but caught the bug for radio much earlier than that.
At 17 he left high school to join Clark Sinclair's 3SA Announcers' Training Centre in Melbourne where he learnt all aspects of the radio industry. It was Clark's valuable help that landed Chris his first job at Radio 4VL in Charleville.
From there Chris worked for a string of regional stations which included stints at 2WEB Bourke, 4AM Mareeba, 4CC Gladstone, 4LM and HOT-FM Mt Isa, 4MB & SEA-FM Maryborough, 105.7 THE RIVER Albury, 2GO & SEA-FM and finally to ARN where Chris can be heard weekdays reading news for Brisbane’s Feel Good 97.3FM and Classic Hits 4KQ.
In 2001, while working at 2GO-FM on the Central Coast of NSW, Chris became the station imaging voice for RG Capital's 92.5 GOLD-FM. That has since expanded to include over 20 radio stations across the country.
